Beef bone broth - Good for the soul broth. When cooking the Seswaa, all the flavours from the meat and bones create a simple and hearty broth. Served with a few herbs, it’s a great start to the meal.Main
Seswaa and phaletshe - Seswaa is the national dish of Botswana! Served with “phaletshe” or maize porridge, it is a staple at weddings and any big family gathering. A simple but deliciously comforting meal.Dessert
Sorghum and suji cake - Sweet and sticky. The sorghum and suji (Semolina) mix makes a crumbly textured cake.

Setshu sa oxtail le dinawa - This stewed oxtail is a celebration dish in my home, and a must have camping meal. Cooked for hours till tender, I like to serve this rich stew with black eyed beans and lightly pickled cabbage.Dessert
Bush Tea Ice Cream - Flavoring with rooibos gives this ice cream the same taste of milky sweet tea, a favourite drink back home.
